In this third of our Village Cricket series, Dan and Tyler travel to Kent by invitation of James Worrall from Addington Village. It is a lovely village and great little club nestled next to West Malling Golf Club. We bring you highlights of a Last Man Stands T20 match played at the lovely Addington Village CC between the Afghan Tigers and The Umpire Strikes Back.

@Sanderstead CC TV We use a Laptop to score over here in Australia in our league, which allows us to upload ball by ball to our official results site (mycricket). Been doing it since 2010 i think?
I love the run out😄😄😄😄
Spitfires are from Biggin Hill, the pilots love to fly over old WWI airfield sites and they are a common site in this part of Kent. West Malling airfield, now Kings Hill Village, was one such field. Played against Addington many times – boy, I could tell you some stories about them.
loved the opening intro 😀
running up the middle of the pitch every ball no warning
so how is he allowed to bowl in a white shirt with a white ball
Congrats to the Afghan tigers they played very well
Can you tell me which scoring app they were using please?
I suspect the spitfire is kept at the Headcorn airfield, near Maidstone – can go up in one for a (quite expensive) fee I think
I love it when your predictions on a player's ability are wrong: (prediction = biffer, actual = nurdler) and (prediction = wily old fox, actual = pie thrower)
I like the spread of games, but you made this channel good by showing the firsts play with good highlights and better commentary, religiously watched it on a Sunday. Don’t know about anyone else but that’s what I tune in for.
How long for the 1st teams game
How long for 1st team game
I umpire last man stands in Australia and to be honest it’s good fun but not great for your cricket. Socially it’s amazing to play
Rowan MacDonald-Gay plays for Kent!!
Lovely ground Addington, played there plenty of times when i lived in Kent and always very friendly club. The golf club at Bottom of the ground, West Malling is lovely as well.
Let me know if Suffolk is close enough for you to come as we have sat league, Sunday league and midweek T20
Counts as 12????
What a super outlook and what’s with the white ball and the white sight screen nice to see the beautiful spit buzzing around
Noice
Love this channel BTW. Since I discovered you it I haven't missed a video yet. Come up to Lancashire, we have some amazing grounds up here
In the lancashire league we sometimes have live scoring with play cricket. When I say sometimes that means sometimes the scoring is live and sometime it takes 3 weeks for the scorecard to be put up
James is actually a gun batsmen, flat sixes were chaos. Also solid bowling in the middle.
Up in our notts Saturday and Sunday league we have various colourfully named Asian sides; Bengal tigers, Nottingham tigers, young lions, rainbows, cheers cricket, Pakistan and the Pakistan badshahs
What sort of ball do they use??
13:00 'The deep moo boundary'. A phrase I shall lock away for future use, ty.
Is it a normal cricket ball? Sounds funny
You do see a fair few spitfires down here in Sussex and Kent…there are a number based at Goodwood just up the road from me in West Sussex for example…I'd be surprised if it was that unusual in Surrey!
3:16 Thresh is a verb concerned with the flailing of cereal. Thrash is similar but with more violence, to the cereal that is. Would a 'six' be seen as a product of threshing and a 'six more like a nine' be the product of thrashing?
Thanks for coming down. There were definitely some badgers on show but it’s all good fun. Love the commentary!
Great Vid!!
Where did Tyler play in birmingham?
That keeper is so village 😂
What a great video and a great format of the game too. Thanks <3
Wowww the videos are keep on coming !! Great !!
Love the channel and would love to know where Tyler played Birmingham League.
Never seen so many wides in sucession! lol
Edit: Umpire not giving wides to the Umpire Strikes Back team.
