Bit Rate affects image quality, file size, and much more. This video provides a quick overview on what bit rate is and why it is important to understand. I also cover the difference between Constant Bit Rate and Variable Bit Rate.

OMFG FINALLY THIS IS THE DAY THAT I REALISED THE REASON MY VIDS HAVE THESE PIXELS IS BECAUSE OF BIT RAATTEE IM SO ANGRY I DIDNT KNOW THIS BEFORE ;(
Thanks for explaining this! 🙂
If I have an h264 video with 11Mbps and an h265 file with 6.4k Kpbs. How do I determine which one has higher quality video?
if an increase in resolution increases bitrate then a video should look better with a higher resolution not supported by the display due to increase in bitrate especially in scenes with a lot of movement.
I have 26mbps down and 2mbps up so what stream and video settings would be the most accurate in OBS for my internet connection speed when streaming to Facbook? Anyone?
Thanks!
Record in 4k export in 1440p with 20+ bitrate, YouTube will still downgrade the video to sh*** 360p that's why YouTube is crap
God bless you
your shit is buzzing dude
Great explanation, thanks!
Merci beaucoup !
Bit rate is a really big issue on mobizen screen recorder it looks like you're recording at 360p when it's actually at 1080p
This is a great explanation of Bit Rate. Thanks for the video Kellan
Thank you for the quick, easy, and informative video! I don't know much about this stuff so this was really helpful.
bitrate drops when rendering…how can we fix it
? example: 80.000 kb/sn drop 12.000 kb/sn… but ı want stay 80.000…and render setting not include (80.000) / sony vegas 17
You did not explain bit rate
tks for help in understanding
Your camera's in an awkward place. I feel like I'm in your lap looking up at you. It'd be a lot less weird to watch if you raised it and made it more eye level. Or if you want it angled up, just back it up more.
Thanks for sharing for this type of information
