It's the unpredictability that Hisoka represents in this world. He can be an antagonist once arc and an ally the next without it seeming strange or out of place. Also the only thoughts we hear Hisoka express are excitement from fighting or meeting a potential fighter not really any other time. Chrollo represents nihilism not unpredictability and that's why he gives off a much different feeling. Also we may learn that Hisoka has a deeper tie to the Phantom Troop then we may know currently if they are pushed to destroy each other with Kurapika during voyage to the Dark Continent .

I one time had a weird dream with hisoka in it where I had to fight hisoka to save my friend I don't know what happened since I woke up before the fight started but I remember trying to find my friend and ended up finding my friend with hisoka.
