Add A Favicon to A Website in HTML | Learn HTML and CSS | HTML Tutorial | HTML for Beginners. In this HTML tutorial we will learn how to add a favicon to our websites. A favicon is the small icon you see in the browser tab, next to your website title. A HTML favicon is also a great way to brand your website, and it allows for people to easier find your website when they have other tabs open in their browser.

mmtuts is a YouTube channel that focuses on teaching beginner and advanced courses in various multimedia related skills.
We plan to make tutorials available on programming, video production, animation, graphic design, and on software such as the Adobe Creative Cloud programs.
PHP for beginners is a how to series that teaches the PHP coding language to people who are just starting out learning programming. The course teaches how PHP scripting can be made easy and teaches how to build many apps such as a login system, a comment section, how to upload images, how to create users in a website, and much more. Creating dynamic websites with PHP is easy and should not be seen as otherwise, which is why we want to explain the language in a easy to understand way for beginners.
If you have suggestions on new courses, or specific lessons within existing courses you would like to see, then feel welcome to submit them in the comment section or in a private message. ALL suggestions will be seen, but not all will be replied to since we get quite a few every day.

Also a comment. Browsers automatically compress files to 16 px × 16 px icon so setting a small image is important.
Also it's best to convert it to an .ico file because that's what browsers natively use.
Woow thank you so much, it works and its so easy
Done. Thanks so much for this. Simple, clear, brilliant 🙂
Thank you for the amazing tutorials!!
You need to use <link rel="icon" type="image/png" href="yourimagename" />
It's must be in the head tag
The "shortcut icon" is now changed to "icon"
In a myriad of files the direct inclusion is imperative to the business i'm in … THE robot need only know the DIRECT path to the excluded folder for AGGREGATING the INTERNAL CIRCUIT ORDER or ORDER_BY – as this is so important in the DESCRIPTIVE ENTITY or the actual BINARY which is ENCODED. So for two years after registration the imperative design is cohesive of the LIVE state of the actual task needed to perform the required TASK or STEPS as to SECURE the root folder or ROOT ENTITY FOLDER or ref … references. I have excluded so many RANDOM entities within an ENTERPRISE and redirection to another BASE requires the same imprint of the ENCODED and DECODED matter from the state of PRODUCED binary as the VISUAL entity in DESCRIBING the path with which all INPUTS require. DEVICES or DIVISOR are not misaligned in the thorough transfer of MATTER from one point to the other specially in PUTS or STORED procedures or entities that require a SOURCE or S R C from within the internal circuit by DESIGN. LOG O logging output within a specified time is the essence of connectivity with EXPECTED results from all the MYRIAD and or RANDOM entity that occur within a NETWORK. This is by far the best NAMING CONVENTION to date and most efficient. GOD I LOVE HTML.
